Maudis Terms of Service
- Introduction
Welcome to the Maudis website! We manufacture high-quality saunas, hot tubs, and camping cabins for B2B partners. By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (if applicable). Registered users are required to comply with these terms.
- Service Description
The Maudis website is intended to showcase our products and services and provide an opportunity for B2B partners to place orders. Only approved B2B partners can log in to our system and place orders. Other visitors who are not registered B2B partners can submit product inquiries but cannot purchase directly through this website.
- Usage Rights and Intellectual Property
All photos, texts, logos, and other content on this website are owned by Maudis or our partners, and cannot be used without our prior consent. You agree not to copy, distribute, or share any content from the site without written permission.
- Registration and User Responsibilities
To become our B2B partner, potential clients must fill out the “Become a Dealer” form. Once approved, they will receive login credentials and can access the system to make purchases. B2B partners must adhere to these terms and keep their login credentials confidential. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login information and for any actions taken using your account.
- Order Placement and Payment
B2B partners can place orders by logging into the system, but payment is made via invoice through bank transfer, not using e-commerce payment platforms. We do not use e-shop payment systems. Prices are provided according to a special B2B price list, which is available only to approved partners.
- Return and Exchange Policy
The buyer has the right to return products within 30 days of receipt if the products are unused and in their original packaging. If the products have been used or show signs of wear, Maudis reserves the right to reduce or refuse the return fee based on the depreciation of the product’s value.
Return process: To return products, the buyer must contact us via email at sales@maudis.com, providing the order number and details of the items to be returned. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the returned product does not match the order (e.g., a wrong or defective item).
Please note that any returned products must be in their original condition with all accessories and documentation. The returned goods will be inspected before the final approval of the return process.
- Warranty
The manufacturer provides a 24-month warranty for the products, starting from the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing defects but is voided by improper installation, misuse, or damages resulting from acts of nature. The manufacturer does not provide a warranty for wooden components. Note: The commercial use of products has a 3-month warranty.
- To claim the warranty, the Warranty Claim Form must be completed and sent to the manufacturer.
- All natural wood articles may have variations in color, grain, and irregularities such as knots or cracks, which are not considered defects in material or workmanship.
- The warranty does not cover typical material errors or wear due to normal use.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for ensuring that products comply with local authority requirements.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse. Please read the user manual and follow the instructions.
- Damage caused by inadequate or improper foundation support is not covered by the warranty. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to provide a proper foundation.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by freezing water.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of a hot tub heater without proper water levels.
- The warranty does not cover corrosion or damage due to seawater or aggressive chemicals (e.g., chlorine).
- The warranty is void if the product is repaired without prior manufacturer approval.
- Any damages or missing items occurring during transportation must be reported to the manufacturer before signing the CMR note.
- The warranty applies to the manufacturer’s premises. Warranty repair service and components are free of charge, but the buyer shall cover transportation costs. A call-out fee will apply up to 250 EUR in Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, and Sweden.
- The buyer must provide the manufacturer with the defective components for replacement. The freight for returned items must be prepaid. If the repair is not covered under the warranty, charges will apply.
For warranty matters, please contact the manufacturer. Typically, defective components will be replaced within 30 days after proper notification. The delivery cost for the replacement parts will not exceed the amount paid by the buyer for the delivery of the original product.
- Third-Party Services
The provision of Maudis services may be influenced by third parties, such as transportation companies. We carefully select our partners, but we are not responsible for their services or the terms of service they apply.
- Legal Disputes
Any legal disputes arising from or related to these Terms of Service will be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the partner operates. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
The parties may also choose to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including mediation or arbitration, under applicable European or international regulations.
- Service Termination
Maudis reserves the right to terminate the provision of services if the client fails to pay invoices, does not provide necessary information, or violates these terms. Services may be suspended until these issues are resolved.
- Changes to Terms
Maudis reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting on our website. We recommend that you regularly review these terms.
